This history blog is a work in progress, first created in 2021 by students from Ramapo College of New Jersey’s Discovering Digital History course. We plan to continuously update the site each Spring when the course is offered. Each student selects three events or people to research and one primary source from the 1920s. All content on the site has been researched, collected, and organized by students, using quality sources. Students used digital tools to research and display their findings.
In building this site, students have not only expanded their knowledge of the 1920s, but have gained hands-on experience using digital tools and understanding the ever-changing field of digital history. We hope that it proves informative to teachers, students, and the general public.

Cathy teaches Discovering Digital History. She has a Ph.D. in History from New York University and directs the Jane Addams Papers Project at Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Roberta is a student at Ramapo College and took the class in Spring 2021. She is taking this class to gain credentials to teach social studies at the middle school level. She hopes to be a elementary school teacher after she graduates in 2022.
